VSI Recruitment Portal — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all job listings placed on the Vet Space Ireland Recruitment Portal (“the Portal”) by an employer (“the Advertiser”). By submitting a listing and making payment, the Advertiser agrees to be bound by these Terms. Vet Space Ireland (“VSI”) reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of purchase will apply to that listing.

• Basic — €45 for a 30-day listing
• Premium — €100 for a 45-day listing

Full details of what is included in each tier are set out on the Portal at the time of purchase and form part of these Terms.

Payment is required in full, by card, at the time of booking and before a listing is published. Listings will not go live until payment has been received.

Listings run for the fixed period set out in the tier purchased (30 days for Basic, 45 days for Premium) from the date the listing goes live. Listings will automatically expire and be removed from the Portal at the end of this period. There is no automatic renewal; the Advertiser must purchase a new listing if they wish to continue advertising the role.

All listings must be placed under one of the following categories:

• Veterinary Surgeons
• Veterinary Nurses
• Non-clinical roles

Every listing must include:

• Salary or salary range
• A job description
• Contract type (e.g. permanent, locum, fixed term, part time)

Where benefits are listed, only benefits that exceed statutory minimum entitlements may be included. Statutory minimum entitlements (for example, 20 days annual leave) are legal requirements, not benefits, and must not be presented as such. VSI reserves the right to amend or reject any listing that misrepresents a statutory entitlement as a benefit.

Listings are not pre-approved before publication. However, VSI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, edit, suspend or remove any listing at any time, including but not limited to listings that breach these Terms, breach VSI’s content guidelines, or that VSI otherwise considers unsuitable for the Portal. No refund will be issued where a listing is removed for breaching these Terms or VSI’s guidelines.

• The one included social media post will be created and published by VSI, at VSI’s discretion as to format, timing and channel.
• The one free edit/refresh must be requested by the Advertiser during the listing period.

Unused Premium features (including an unused social media post or unused edit/refresh) are not redeemable for a refund, credit, or extension, and carry no cash value.

All sales are final. VSI does not offer refunds for listings once purchased and published, including where an Advertiser fills the role early, does not use an included edit/refresh, or does not take up any other included Premium feature. This does not affect any refund due where VSI removes a listing in error.

VSI processes personal data submitted through the Portal (including Advertiser contact details and any applicant data shared through listings) in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Further detail on how data is collected, used and stored is set out in the Portal’s cookie/privacy pop-up and accompanying privacy notice, which forms part of these Terms.

VSI provides the Portal as a listing service only and does not guarantee any particular number of views, applications, or a successful hire. VSI is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by Advertisers, or for the conduct of Advertisers or applicants using the Portal.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
